7 Steps to Having the Travel Job of Your Dreams - Travel Jobs Tips

Getting a travel job is not hard. In fact, its easy and getting a travel job can be one of the most exciting times in ones life. There are definitely steps you need to follow if you want to land a great travel job instead of just taking what ever you can get.

I have compiled a 7-step process in the past 8 years of working travel jobs and I have land every travel job I've wanted when I follow these travel jobs steps. Most importantly, I have loved every travel job since then.

Travel Job Step #1 - Write down your skills and passions.

The first travel job step is to get a piece of paper and write down your skills and your passions. Take about 10 minutes on both topics. Remember this is the base, it's really important you are honest with yourself and you really define what is it that makes you happy and feeling at your best. Once you have your two lists move on to travel jobs Step #2.

Travel Job Step #2 - Match up and pull out the top 3

You are now going to match up the passions with the skills. NOTE: Focus on passions more then skills, you can always learn a skill. Don't under rate yourself; every single job has a human being with the exact same genetic make up as you. None of us are super hero, you can have any job you want. After it's all through you should have a list of three travel jobs that you would LOVE to have.

Travel Jobs Step #3 - Find the top 5-10 jobs in the areas to want to travel to

The goal here is to be active instead of re-active. Meaning, don't have the "take what ever you can get" mentality. Instead, take what you have defined as the ideal job and find that position. I do this by taking the places in the world that I've always wanted to go to and then search for the keywords of my ideal travel job. The key is to not search for the travel job but to search for the service or involvement that travel job would offer. For Example: If its glacier guiding in Alaska, I would write "Alaska glacier tours."

Travel Job Step #4 - Write down the 7 most important qualities

Now you should be looking at 5-10 of your top dream travel jobs. If you look at them and get an overwhelming sensation of excitement then you have a good list. If you don't get that then keep searching. The next step is to search through the companies and combine the 7 most important qualities that company is going to want in an employee. Try to make half of them obvious qualities such as; easy to get along with, reliable etc... and the other half that is specific such as high level of endurance, certifications etc...

Travel Jobs Step #5 - Create specific resume, contact and submit to ALL

Your travel job resume should have 5 things:

1) A feeling about who you are
2) experience in specific job
3) qualifications
4) 2-3 references to contact
5) hit hard on the seven qualities that the company will find of high value.

Do all you can to contact the hirer and talk to them before submitting your resume. You goal is to get along, if you can make them laugh and then submit. A small conversation will create a connection above other applicants. Now you want to submit to them all at once so the opportunities will come to you all at once. When that happens your attitude changes and you come across as a more desirable person to want to have. If you only have one travel job you are going for then you are going to naturally come across more needy.

Travel Job Step #6 - Questions - Qualify - Questions

Qualifying is the key to separating yourself from the majority of people. This is an area most people fail when it comes to getting travel jobs. Qualifying is the best way to show that you have value to offer and it's also important you don't get caught up in the wrong job. When you qualify you become the buyer and they become the seller, that is a much better position to be in.

Travel Jobs Step #7 - Take the travel job and have fun.

This is a hard step for some. Some people can't seem to let go and give themselves the experience. They keep making up excuses to why they can't go yet and after a while that travel job excitement is numbed by the day-to-day routine and the opportunity fads away.

If you get a feeling of excitement when you think about doing that travel job then do it. That's your signal, let that be your guide. There was a study done with old people and their fulfillment in life and one of the questions was:

"What do wish you would have done when you were younger?"

The #1 answer was, "I wish I would have taken more risks"

It's your life, and only you can choose how you live it.

Can You Really Travel for FREE?

There are very important reasons why the Travel Industry is looking for reliable Travel Coordinators. One of the major reasons is ‘International Travel Safety’ has become a major concern.

The Travel Industry has long since provided a way to help Americans Travel more safely. Again, this is an ancient old method of travel. Even the wagon trains traveling west were not exempt from this method.

Group Travel

Agencies are looking for Travel Addicts; I mean Coordinators all the time. I guess you are wondering why a Travel Agency would be looking for Travel Coordinators? Most people would say that would be the job of a Travel Agent. Wrong! Most Travel Agents do not travel that often. They are busy booking travel for their clients. They loose money every time they leave their office or computer. Its the Travel Coordinators that travel often.

Travel addicts are the people who arrange their life to accommodate last minute travel. Travel addicts usually will pay the rent or mortgage, however the 401K or any savings or investment of any kind is subject to finance travel at any given time.

A Group Travel Coordinator would have the following attributes: commitment, loves travel, likes people, have confidence in marketing themselves and their travel destination, can give attention to detail, love to coordinate, and can use common sense, then you qualify to Travel FREE.

This opportunity works out best when you start out as a hobby and turn it into a part-time job then a full-time business. It is not necessary to re-invent the wheel - do what others have done before you. I know one retired man who started out selling an exotic travel party in the Caribbean each year. Word of mouth took over, because people really enjoyed themselves, and now he does not have to work a 9 to 5 job. The commission from booking 300 to 500 people a year into a 5 star resort on the islands each year, pays off BIG.

I suppose you are wondering how a Travel Coordinator just starting out travels FREE? Easy, when you book 6 people or 15 people or what ever number the Travel whole seller sets; one person goes FREE.

Example: Say you have 9 people that want to go to China. You have a mark-up of 15% on the wholesale price, plus you get one free hotel and air if 6 people sign-up. Your mother and father, sister and cousin, your girlfriend and her husband want to go and the lady at the church wants to go. And when another lady at the church found out from the Pastor that Mrs. J was going, so she decided to go. (Your husband said if he wants to see China he will go to Chinatown!) So you now have 8 people, 9 counting yourself. You get one free travel pass and you can decided to lower your package price at the last minute because you did not need the extra 15% mark-up, or you can keep it for any emergency during the trip or you can use it to market your next trip. It’s up to you!

Travel Coordinator Trivia. If you can see a problem already with the above travel group, then you truly understand Group Travel. Think about how you would handle the above situation BEFORE a problem occurs.

Top Romantic Destinations to Visit in Moscow, Russia

Nearly a generation after the end of the communist USSR, Russia is one of the most exciting travel destinations there is. Moscow is a city with its own mixture of old and contemporary Russia, and a generous helping of cosmopolitanism. If Moscow isn't on your list of places to travel to, it should be. In fact, the rich past of the city, plus its new status as a top location makes Moscow one of the most captivating and romantic locations in the world. Here are some of the top romantic spots in Moscow.

Tsaritsino is a grand estate and park near the Tsaritsino metro station in Moscow. Though its history goes back to the 16th century, it was in 1775 that Catherine the Great acquired the estate and named it. She had noted architect Vasili Bazhenov construct a new palace, which he worked on for the better part of a decade, until she demanded that it be torn down, for reasons that remain unclear. From then until 1797 another architect did construction on the palace, though all work was suddenly stopped in 1797 when Catherine died. Many structures remained incomplete, though some have recently been completed. It is perhaps the largest example of 18th century pseudo-Gothic design in Russia. The park around the palace has artificial caverns, decorative bridges, arbors and other structures. It is a breathtaking place to visit, one that you and your sweetheart will remember forever.

The GUM Department Store takes upthe greatest part of of the eastern end of Red Square, directly across from Lenin's tomb. It was constructed from 1890 to 1893 and features an impressive mixture of steel framework and glass roof and Russian medieval ecclesiastical design. At three stories tall, it is the biggest shopping center in Moscow. The interior is made of three arcades centered on a fountain, with light pouring in through the transparent roof. GUM has been described as Harrods, Bergdorf, Saks, and Bloomingdale's all under one roof, and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon with your sweetheart.

Cafe Pushkin looks like it has been around hundreds of years, but in fact, it was constructed less than a decade ago. It is open 24/7 and has been described as Russia's take on the French brasserie. While the decor is elegant, with each floor sumptuously decorated in its own style, casual clothing is perfectly fine. The Cafe Pushkin is near the Pushkinskaya metro rail station. Most of the staff know English, and the food is done to perfection. If you go after everything else is closed, you'll enjoy the sight of all the neon signs and the floodlit buildings that adorn the city.

If you and your mate have a special event to celebrate, the Sky Lounge is perfect. Located at the top of the Russian Academy of Sciences building, the Sky Lounge affords some of themost spectacular views of the city. The food leans Mediterranean, and the music is selected to be soft and relaxing. The Sky Lounge is pricey, but unforgettable. To get there go to the Leninsky Prospekt metro stop, then head toward the tall, orange-roofed buildings.

Moscow today is sophisticated, smart, and cosmopolitan, a glittering city with as much to offer as New York or Paris, with the added poignancy of having had such a complex history.Get florists Moscow at http://www.cityflora.com

Missouri Has It All.

Missouri is a state of diversity. From two major, bustling metropolises in the east and the west – St. Louis and Kansas City – to farming communities dotting the state from top to bottom to one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country – Lake of the Ozarks and Branson – Missouri really does seem to have it all. Indeed, Missouri seems more than capable of living up to its motto of being The Show Me State – anyone spending a moment in Missouri will see that the state truly does offer residents and visitors alike a broad palate when it comes to business, recreation, entertainment, culture and other aspects of life.

On the west side of the state lies Kansas City, perhaps one of the most underrated cities in North America on some level. Kansas City is the true birthplace of jazz and blues music with some of the greatest performers in these genres getting their start in swanky clubs near Broadway and Vine in the city's center. Beyond the performing arts, Kansas City is also renowned for its cuisine, particularly famous K.C. barbecue.

Beyond food and the arts, shopping reigns in Kansas City (which is known as the city of fountains ... Kansas City has more fountains than any other city in the United States and second only to Rome internationally). The iconic Country Club Plaza, with its Spanish Style architecture, was the first open air shopping center in the country, being developed in the 1920s. The Country Club Plaza is home today to fine shops and stores and marvelous restaurants that draw crowds the entire year around.

Commercially, Kansas City is a major hub not only for Missouri but for the Midwestern United States as well. A number of major corporations are headquartered in K.C., including Hallmark Cards and H & R Block.

At the other end of the state, St. Louis is bustling. The largest city in the state, the St. Louis Waterfront District (located literally in the shadows of the famous Arch) has become a dining, retail and entertainment destination beyond compare.

St. Louis is also a prime Midwestern cultural center at which a person can take advantage of the performing arts of all types ... live theater, opera, the symphony and other types of performances. In addition, the city has become known for its museums and galleries, including venues that feature fine examples of American and other artistic genres.

Missourians are a robust people committed to health and wellness. Healthy daily living has become something of a quest for many residents of the state. As a consequence, many residents of the state find themselves intently concerned about making certain that they both look and feel great.

Towards this end, a growing number of Missourians can be found taking advantage of the latest technologies to deal with vascular related conditions such as varicose veins. This includes the use of both laser and light treatments including Sciton, Lumenis, Palomar, Cool Touch and VNUS. Thanks to treatments such as Sciton, Lumenis, Palomar, Cool Touch and VNUS, an individual that desires to resolve a varicose vein condition does not have to be subjected to invasive surgery.

By using a procedure like Sciton, Lumenis, Palomar, Cool Touch or VNUS, an individual doesn't even really need to adjust his or her schedule to undergo one or another of these procedures. In short, there really is no “down time” associated with Sciton, Lumenis, Palomar, Cool Touch or VNUS when it comes to the resolution of a varicose vein condition.
